The Mumbai Xpress is a 12 day road rally across India. It is organized by the fine folks at The Travel Scientists. They have been managing these races for over 6 years and organize them on 3 different continents. This adventure will cover close to 2000 KM. Traversing India is an unparalleled challenge, but to increase the adventure quotient, these two adventurers will be driving a motorized Rickshaw. The route begins in the megalopolis of Mumbai, hugs the coast south to the renowned beaches of Goa, and jets east across the country to Chennai on the Bay of Bengal. Multiple teams will be racing across India, battling everything from Monsoons, language barriers, food sickness, and insane driving conditions, while driving the equivalent of an underpowered riding lawn mower.

Hit The Road: India is a feature-length documentary project that will trace the racers across India. This project is being developed by Manana Films studio. The production will take place during the summer of 2012.
